A  Celebration of Zoo360

The Philadelphia Zoo’s Annual Global Conservation Gala is an opportunity to honor the pioneers in the world of conversation, further the Zoo’s mission, and recognize the support of volunteer leadership. Over the past five years, the Global Conservation Gala has heralded our 150th Anniversary, launched the grand opening of KidZooU, and kicked off Zoo-wide Year of the Orangutan, Year of the Big Cat and Year of the Gorilla.

This year’s gala will help expand the Zoo’s innovative impact on animals and conservation education. We will highlight the impact the new Zoo360 trail system is having on the Zoo, our community and the world. Zoos and other animal welfare organizations around the world are looking at the Philadelphia Zoo as a pioneer in enhancing the quality of life for animals, and in creating new ways for visitors to engage with wildlife and their plight, by providing new opportunities for animals to roam far beyond their traditional Zoo habitats.
